The city of Agrigento was built on two hills, Rupe Atenea and Colle Girgenti. Agrigento was one of the most important Greek colonies in the 6th century.

Today, you can visit the remarkable neoclassical buildings along the main road called Via Atenea and the majestic Cathedral of San Gerlando in Agrigento’s historical center.

A highlight would include taking pictures of the incredible view of the landscape and sea while you are exploring the city from the Viale della Vittoria.
